For the 2022 Art Gifting, OMEC was proud to offer this stunning hand-rendered oil painting of Lidia Arbachakov.
Lidia's son, Alexander Arbachakov, is the creator with his wife, Luba, of OMEC's The Guardians film project - which will chronicle the wisdom of Siberian Shor elders. Along with OMEC Advisor, Bill Pfeiffer, Llyn Cedar Roberts was introduced to, and stayed with Lidia Arbachakov at her home in the Shor Mountain region of Siberia, more than 20 years ago - and has supported Alexander and his wife Luba in creating book projects that preserve their ancient indigenous shamanic wisdom. The Siberian Shor number under 10,000. This painting was created and generously donated to support OMEC's fund raising efforts by award-winning artist Eben Herrick. The reference photograph for the portrait was provided by Alexander Arbachakov. |
In 2021 Omec Gifting of this beautiful pen and ink drawing by Susan Cohen Thompson.
Susan is the supremely talented nature-artist whose drawings are in Sandra Ingerman and Llyn Roberts’ book Speaking with Nature. Susan’s artwork also adorns the book’s beautiful cover. Nature has always inspired Susan’s work. Hiking deeply in the Amazon Rainforest, and now surrounded by trees and water in the Pacific Northwest, among all the color and images presented in her work we clearly see her love and honoring of the Earth. We are delighted that Susan Cohen Thompson has donated a beautiful drawing to benefit OMEC projects. View more of Susan’s work at: Thompsonartstudio.com |
