Relax into your physical and subtle senses, to reconnect - with yourself, spirit, and with nature.
To keep this intention at the forefront we maintain a substance-free environment with no alcohol, no mind-altering substances, and no smoking or vaping. Participants agree to support each other in an unplugged (daily 'touch-in' option) experience, valuing quiet, space, and stillness - equally to laughter and sharing, to connect with nature and the spirit of the place. We offer simple invitations that will awaken your senses, focusing and expanding your attention to the living world around you. We will have some 'quiet zones' and incubation times, solo 'sits' as well as circle gatherings inside and outside at pristine locations. We will be in nature in an awake yet ordinary way, which is a ceremonial act. We ask that you stay out of the car for the entire retreat time.
We enact 'wandering', 'deep listening', and other simple nature-based practices and may walk on an easy trail. All invitations are optional. Every day and every moment and experience has its own texture and rhythm, and every person is encouraged to honor their own and changing rhythms - taking us individually, and as a circle, deeper into relationship with ourselves, each other, with nature and the spiritual aspects of the land and of nature beings.
HOW TO ORIENT
EMBRACE STILLNESS AND QUIET - Deeply Listen
BE A MASTER RELAXER - Rest, Sleep, Incubate, Dream
BE A MASTER OBSERVER - Open Physical and Subtle Senses
BE LIKE A CHILD - Curious, Playful and Open Hearted
REFLECT AND MOVE - Muse, Write, Draw, Play and Wander
SEE FROM THE HEART - Perceive Beauty and Ordinary Magic
MAKE FRIENDS WITH (don't fill the) SPACE – Embody and Be

APPLICATION
To apply for the 2026 Wild Wisdom Retreat, please fill out the following form.
Nature is alive and intelligent. We can tap into that same spark of knowing which also flows through us—to heal and transform, and to live an inspired life. And, we don’t have to live isolated in the wilderness to connect with that spark of wild wisdom.
In this highly experiential residential retreat, we will nourish our relationship with the conscious intelligent force that lives in the land and flows through the air and waterways—just as it also lives within our own breath, body, bones, and blood—to free our instinctual knowing and express our authentic nature as we also honor the Earth.
Through transformative invitations and practices, we will:
• Track the wild wisdom threads of our deep longings
• Work with non-visible allies to follow wild wisdom pathways
• Transform ideas and fears that suppress our wild intelligence
• Open our sense and feeling channels to communicate with the creative power of the Earth
• Enliven our connection with the spirit that lives in all things
Join us in recovering the natural human capacity for grace and a deep sense of belonging with the Earth.
