About this Adventure...
This apprenticeship program is rooted in my background in contemplative psychotherapy, Tibetan Buddhism, Earth-honoring approaches, body-centered practices, and decades of working with diverse groups of indigenous shamanic peoples. (Explore more in my books and bio.) In 1988 and 1989, I completed Reiki training with John Harvey Gray, one of Hawayo Takata’s original 22 students, and in 1993 I became a nontraditional Reiki Master Teacher. During the 1990s, my healing practice naturally expanded to include shamanic methods—guided by a profound spiritual opening that led me to work with indigenous shamanic peoples, some in remote regions of the world. Drawing from these experiences, and as presented in the book Shamanic Reiki, I taught weekend Shamanic Reiki programs at the Omega Institute and 5 year-long Shamanic Reiki Apprenticeships. In 2016, the apprenticeship was adapted to a home based format accessible to people all over the world. The Entry Apprenticeship has evolved to offer an intimate integration of energy practices and nature-based spiritual healing approaches - supporting transformation for people from all walks of life. The work expands through the years and with each book I write. In this time of abbreviated teachings and superficial transmissions, I am honored to invite you to “Step into the Deep Mystery” with me and our Shamanic Reiki Worldwide team.

Yes—everyone is welcome! Reiki training is provided if needed. Shamanic Reiki deepens your healing gifts and your connection with nature and spirit. Apprentices come from all walks of life. This nature-based, intuitive practice invites you to engage with fresh eyes and an open heart, empowering you to hold meaningful space for healing and the natural world.
What's special about this Apprenticeship?
Our heart-based approach empowers each person uniquely, offering Client-Based, Nature-Based, or combined practicums with hands-on guidance from Llyn and the faculty. Learning unfolds through experience, expanding your perspective, deepening your connection with nature, and transforming how you approach life and healing. A Life Empowerment option is also available for those who want to create their own experience.
What does this certification empower me to do?
Upon completing your year-long certification, you will carry the power of Shamanic Reiki into every aspect of your life. You’ll have the confidence to use its healing approaches, guide rituals, practices and ceremonies for people and nature; your innate healing gifts will be magnified. You will draw upon many rich skills, feel a deeper bond with the Earth, and a living connection to the flow of life. You will be empowered to apply Shamanic Reiki and Reiki Secrets® practices to heal yourself, others, and nature. If called to teach you'll be empowered to facilitate the Shamanic Reiki Healing Weekend and in the second year, EV1, will be guided by faculty and mentors to facilitate this program.
