Creator and Founder
Llyn "Cedar" Roberts is an award-winning author and a renowned teacher of healing and shamanism. She received her traditional Reiki training in 1988 from John Harvey Gray, one of Hawayo Takata's 22 original students. She received her non-traditional Reiki training in 1993 and has taught Shamanic Reiki since that time. She is the author of Shamanic Reiki (Roberts & Levy), Shapeshifting into Higher Consciousness and The Good Remembering. She is the coauthor with Sandra Ingerman of Walking Through Darkness and of Speaking with Nature ~ a Nautilus Gold Medal award winner. She served as adjunct faculty for the Union Graduate School and the Graduate Institute. Her dynamic teaching and writing styles incorporate backgrounds in contemplative psychotherapy, Tibetan Buddhism, work with diverse indigenous groups, wilderness living, Reiki, and body-centered approaches to healing. Roberts was a student of the Tibetan teacher, Chogyam Trungpa, Rinpoche in the 1980's. She attended Trungpa's final 3-month seminary at Rocky Mountain Dharma Center in Colorado. She obtained a master’s degree in Buddhist and Western Psychology from Naropa University in 1985. She completed her internship for Naropa at a Mexican-American community mental health center, whose staff included a curandera. Prior to this, as a student at the School for International Training, she completed her internship working with mentally handicapped children in India. While in India, she studied yoga with BKS Iyengar. Llyn has undergone initiations and intensive training with Andean Quechua healers. She has brought people to learn from indigenous peoples since 1998, facilitating sacred journeys in Siberia, remote regions of the Amazon rainforest, in the Ecuadorian Andes, and in Guatemala. She has facilitated 15 sacred journeys to work with Maya spiritual guides in Guatemala, incepting numerous projects to their preserve ancient wisdom ways. She is a member of the "Evolutionary Leaders Circle", founded by Barbara Marx Hubbard and Deepak Chopra. Working in the nonprofit sector since 1998 she was the director of Dream Change, founded by John Perkins, with whom she facilitated transformational programs, and sacred journeys for over 15 years. Llyn founded the nonprofit organization Olympic Mountain EarthWisdom Circle, "OMEC" when she lived in the Hoh River Valley on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State, USA. She created and facilitated weeklong wilderness retreats in the Hoh valley and rainforest for many years.

Senior Faculty Team
Stacey Gibbons is a prominent teacher of Shamanic Reiki healing approaches, practices and ceremonials. She is certified in Peruvian shamanism, is an instructor of multiple forms of yoga and is certified as a traditional and Karuna Reiki Master. She developed a holistic multi-disciplinary program for teens at New Hampshire’s Mountain Valley Treatment Center, a short-term residential treatment center. Stacey began her Shamanic Reiki journey when she studied with Llyn Roberts in the late 1990s. She has been instrumental in working together with Llyn to translate the home-based entry year apprenticeship program to an online format, to expanding programs into a three yearlong immersion experience and to broadening the Shamanic Reiki audience. As co-founder of Shamanic Reiki Worldwide Stacey worked together with Llyn and Jeff Eissfeldt in 2016 to establish SRW's operational structure. She and Llyn facilitated Shamanic Reiki Master yearlong apprenticeship programs together for almost a decade. Through Stacey's dedicated efforts SRW has evolved to an expanded community of apprentices, assistants, mentors, and faculty. She has been teaching Shamanic Reiki training programs at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY for many years. As a board member of the Olympic Mountain EarthWisdom Circle Stacey introduces OMEC's mission and work to workshop participants and Shamanic Reiki apprentices, raises funds for its indigenous projects and educates practitioners about OMEC's Earth-honoring values.

Senior Faculty member, Christopher Franza, has been a Registered Nurse since 1994 and a Traditional Reiki Master since 1998. He is a faculty presenter for the yearlong SRMT as well as the EV1 and EV2 apprenticeship programs. He has has completed the Heart of Warriorship, The Sacred Path, and the Shambhala School of Buddhist studies programs and attended Warriors Assembly in 2010. He has studied Wilderness and Primitive skills at The Jack Mountain Bushcraft school, Mountain Scout school, and WildEarth where he completed the yearlong apprenticeship/intern program focusing on nature awareness for children. Christopher has also completed the yearlong Ancient Art of Awareness program under Michael Ridolfo at New Paltz Wilderness Mind. An avid outdoors person, he enjoys exploring the Catskill, Shawangunk, and Adirondack mountain areas. He is a member of the OMEC board of directors.

Ceremonialist and Sacred Fire Tender. Senior Faculty member, Rob Murphy, is initiated in the shamanic traditions of Ecuadorian Quichua, Brazilian Makunaiman, and re-dreamed Celtic Wolven Path and an ordained minister of the Wolven Path. He is a master Reiki practitioner and Shamanic Reiki practitioner and teacher, the founder of the Richmond Shamanic Meetup and Drum Circle and a core member of the NY Shamanic Circle. He has offered workshops and classes in shamanism for the Richmond, Virginia & NYC areas, in Canada & Ireland and facilitated trips to learn from indigenous elders in South America. He held nature retreats in the Hoh River Valley and Rainforest with Llyn Roberts and is a graduate of Dr. Linda Backman’s Past Life Soul Regression and Between Life Soul Regression programs, using regression therapy as an integral part of his shamanic healing. He is a graduate of the 16-week Shift Network Peace Ambassador Training.

Senior Faculty Member Jonathan Hammond is the author of The Shaman's Mind. He served as a Professional Consultant to SRW apprentices for many years. Jonathan is an Energy Healer, Shamanic practitioner, and Spiritual Counselor in private practice on Maui in Hawaii. In addition to Shamanic Reiki he is a certified Reiki Master Teacher in Usui and Karuna Reiki from the International Center for Reiki Training. He completed the core curriculum with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies and is certified in Cherokee Bodywork. He has studied with shamanic teachers in North and South America, including apprenticing with the Chapada Diamantina in Brazil. Jonathan has taught at the Omega Institute for many years and also teaches for the Shift Network. In addition to shamanism and energy healing, Jonathan is ordained as an Interfaith Minister through the four-year Inter-Spirituality and Spiritual Counseling program with One Spirit Learning Alliance in New York City, where he has also taught.

Senior Faculty member, Lis Traphagen has been a licensed clinical social worker and practicing psychotherapist for more than 30 years. She received a BA from Brandeis University and a masters degree from the Wurzweiller School of social work at Yeshiva University. She is the supervisor for the Mentor Facilitators and presenting faculty for the Evolving Shamanic Reiki Master Teacher EV2 yearlong training program. Lis is certified as an End of Life Doula and certified as an SBEM empowerment coach and therapist. She is the Vice President of the Olympic Mountain EarthWisdom Circle OMEC, the Project Director for its Maya Women Weavers Project, and has acted as the Sacred Travel Team Director for the Maya sacred journey with Llyn Cedar Roberts.

Core Faculty member Sue Bellamy is a professional energy healer and a visual artist. Her private healing practice is in the beautiful Catskill mountains of New York where she co-owns an independent bookstore, Diamond Hollow Books & Healing. Sue facilitates the 'Foundational Practices' sessions for the entry year-long Shamanic Reiki Master Healer and Teacher program. She hosts a quarterly in-person HEARTH circle for her community, that is devoted to inspiring interest and raising funds for the Olympic Mountain Earth Wisdom Circle and its indigenous projects. Sue is currently a student at the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in Gainesville, Florida. Sue is inspired by all the ways of Nature.

Core Faculty member Karen Franza is a Licensed Clinical Laboratory Technologist who holds a BSN in nursing, working in Hospice care and a Laboratory setting. She lives with her husband Christopher Franza in the Catskill mountains in the State of New York where her family has lived and befriended the land for six generations. An avid hiker, Karen finds every footstep on these lands to be a blessing. Karen is trained in the Shambhala School of Buddhist Studies, is a Certified Forest Therapy guide, and is trained through the Association of Nature & Forest Therapy - helping people remember their relationship with the natural world. She is a clan facilitator and faculty presenter for the EV2 yearlong program.

Core Faculty member Nadine Majano teaches in the entry apprenticeship program and is a faculty presenter and clan facilitator for the third yearlong Shamanic Reiki Worldwide Apprenticeship program, EV2. She also teaches Shamanic Reiki at the Omega Institute. As a member of the board of directors for OMEC, Nadine works with its Mayan Women Weavers project and facilitates annual journeys to Guatemala to work with Maya spiritual guides. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Rhode Island and an M.Ed. from the University of Georgia. Her calling as a healer was initiated after participating in sacred Mayan fire ceremonies while living in Guatemala in 2012. She has a private healing practice in NJ.

Core Faculty member Tiffany Radovich is a Shamanic Reiki Master Techer (EV2) graduate, and Sound Healing Practitioner. She has mentored for EV1 and EV2 levels of SRW’s year-long programs, and she has assisted at Shamanic Reiki in-person workshops. She has been a presenter for OMEC’s HEARTH circle, a monthly online gathering that raises funds for indigenous projects. Tiffany is a professional musician with a Bachelor’s in Music from the Boston Conservatory, where she double majored in oboe performance and music education. Tiffany lives in New York, and is most inspired by the deep wisdom and healing that comes from re-connecting with nature.

Adjunct Faculty Team
Adjunct Faculty member Scott Meehan is a Shamanic Reiki Master Teacher EV2 graduate. He is a co-host for EV2 Gatherings, a mentor to its year-long apprentices, has taught Level 1 & 2 Shamanic Reiki in the Pacific Northwest, assisted core faculty programs and has also been a contributing teacher to SRMP programs with Llyn Roberts. Scott, a physician who specializes in pulmonology and critical care, is particularly called to guide caregivers and healers toward personal wellness and self-compassion. As a lung specialist, he regards the breath as a potent tool for embodiment and healing. Scott holds an authentic and gentle space for ceremony, facilitation, healing, and for personal expression.

Adjunct Faculty member, Michael Lauze, is an Ordained Ceremonialist and Certified Addiction Recovery Coach. He is a Shamanic Reiki Master Teacher EV2 graduate and for many years has mentored apprentices within the EV1 program. He is also a Co-Host for EV1 monthly Tele-Gatherings. Michael has served his local community of Concord, New Hampshire in various leadership roles within the mental health and addiction treatment communities for over a decade. Through his private practice he has created and facilitates earth honoring, nature-based healing workshops for addiction treatment and mental health facilities. Michael has traveled extensively in the Maya Highlands of Guatemala.

Adjunct Faculty member Jessica Alejandro is a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist with over 26 years of experience working with couples and individuals. Her successful private practice, Whole Heart Healing, LLC, is located in Middlefield, CT. She is a spiritual coach and teacher, a light-worker and conduit to healing. Jessica is a Shamanic Reiki Worldwide EV2 graduate, a Crystal Dreaming Teacher, Sound Healing/Meditation Practitioner, Breathwork Facilitator, and a Family Constellations Facilitator. Jessica helps others to grow and expand - so they may find what has been inside of them all along. Her diversified approaches to healing include sound healing circles and Ancestral Healing retreats.

Adjunct Faculty member Gaby Winqvist is a Shamanic Reiki Master Teacher EV2 graduate. She teaches and practices the Shamanic Reiki healing approaches in the mountains of Central Pennsylvania and loves mentoring and guiding apprentices through the Evolving Master Shamanic Reiki Worldwide year-long programs. Gaby has taught yoga and meditation to college students for 20 years. She loves nature and is passionate about helping people of all ages to embody their innate wisdom and healing powers, in joyful collaboration and co-creation with the natural world. Gaby is an EV2 Gathering co-host and co-facilitates monthly gatherings that offer support to those who mentor SRW's year-long apprentices.

Adjunct Faculty member, Lea Falkenhagen is a Shamanic Reiki Master Teacher (EV2). She facilitates Shamanic Reiki certifications on the Olympic Peninsula (Chimacum and Jamestown S’Klallam ancestral lands). In her private practice, Lea weaves Shamanic Reiki with Ecopsychology, Intuitive Rebirth, and Wilderness Initiatory Rites. Inspired by a decade of community service with local inmates and women in addiction-recovery, Lea co-founded the Olympic Mountain Women’s Vision Fast, supporting women’s access to wilderness initiatory rites, and rites and ceremonies for community integration. Lea is an EV1 mentor, EV2 Gathering co-host and co-facilitator for SRW mentor gatherings.

Chief Strategist
Eben Herrick, is an award-winning artist. As a graphic designer, he obtained his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston. Eben created SRW's logo, integrating the Shamanic Reiki Worldwide archetypal symbol. He created the OMEC logo and its banner, and has designed and produced postcards, signage and media products for projects and events for both organizations. Eben created and manages the online format and registration processes for Shamanic Reiki trainings. As co-owner with Llyn Roberts of SRW, LLC he overviews all strategic, financial and administrative aspects of the organization, also maintaining the website, graphic design and SRW's social media presence. Eben grew up on a mountain in New Hampshire, and also among abundant forests of western Massachusetts. He has been exposed to Shamanic Reiki healing and nature-based ceremonies since his early childhood. He has enjoyed friendships with indigenous shamanic peoples from the high Andes of Ecuador on their visits to his New Hampshire home. Eben is also managing director of the Olympic Mountain EarthWisdom Circle, OMEC.

Founding Strategist
Jeff is a founding member of Shamanic Reiki Worldwide. He worked together with Llyn Roberts and Stacey Gibbons to established SRW in 2016 and operated as its financial overseer for many years. Jeff is a graduate of the Shamanic Reiki Master-Teacher Certification (EV2). He is certified in Qi Gong healing and Integrated Energy Therapy. Jeff holds a BA degree in Literature from the Maharishi University of Management as well as an MA in Clinical Psychology from the John F. Kennedy University and an MBA from Michigan State University. He has worked in corporate finance for over 15 years. Jeff dedicates his time and expertise to the nonprofit organization the Olympic Mountain EarthWisdom Circle " as board President and Finance Director. He also oversees OMEC's indigenous projects.
